WHAT IS JOURNEY OF A LIFETIME?
JOURNEY OF A LIFETIME is an exciting and practical book-by-book survey of the entire Bible. It has more than 50 drawings, as well as 16 maps, charts, and diagrams that aid in making the Bible come to life. This study answers such fascinating questions as: Who wrote the Bible? What is the theme of the Bible? Why is there an Old and New Testament? Why did God want Moses to build a tabernacle? What is the Ark of the Covenant? What is God’s special name when He is dealing with people? What are the Lost Ten Tribes of Israel? Why are there four Gospels? How can I be certain I am going to heaven? There are also six lessons on the book of Revelation to help you find yourself in the seven churches, and to learn about the second coming, the rapture, the tribulation, the battle of Armageddon, and heaven. This is a Study of the Holy Bible. It is not a Study of what someone thinks about the Bible but an examination of the Bible it’s characters and what they experienced as told in the Bible.
WHAT WILL I GAIN BY BECOMING A PART OF THIS BIBLE STUDY?
A person completing this study will have a basic understanding of every book in the Bible and why each book is where it is in the Bible. They will know something about every major character in the Bible. The average person can learn more about the Bible in this study than the average Christian will learn in a lifetime.
HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO COMPLETE THIS COURSE?
JOURNEY OF A LIFETIME consists of 52 separate lessons and will take 52 weeks (1 year) to complete. Each class will be conducted on Wednesday nights in the main sanctuary and each class will be completed in 1 hour.
WHO WILL TEACH THE COURSE
The course will be taught by the Pastor Person, Deacon Fischer and other selected members of the congregation.
ARE THERE ANY PERSONAL COSTS FOR STUDENTS WHO PARTICIPATE IN THIS COURSE?
Each student will be required to remit $18.00 to participate in this course. In the case where there is a husband and wife participating, they most certainly can use the same book but in some cases they may want to have two books so that they can do individual study perhaps away from their home i.e… At work etc.
WHAT IS THE $18.00 FOR?
This money is for the purchase of a JOURNEY OF A LIFETIME binder, the 52 individual lessons that make up the 52 chapters to be inserted in the binder, and a contribution to help defray the costs of shipping the materials to us.
WHEN WILL I GET MY BINDER AND 52 LESSON CHAPTERS?
Binders will be distributed on the first night of classes along with the Lesson for the first night of class. The remaining chapters will be distributed at the beginning of each class on the night that it is presented.
WHAT HAPPENS IF I HAVE TO MISS A CLASS AND AM NOT PRESENT TO RECEIVE MY CHAPTER FOR THE LESSON THAT IS BEING PRESENTED?
All students are encouraged to be present for each class but we recognize that sometimes this is not possible. As soon as you return the instructor will provide you with the lesson that you missed and make sure that you have the answer sheet for that lesson.
WHEN WILL THE JOURNEY OF A LIFETIME COURSE BEGIN?
Once we have a minimum of 15 students signed up who have paid $18.00 for their lesson materials; our classes will begin approximately 3-5 weeks from that date. This will give us time to order and have in place all required course materials and to have all of our instructors lined up and trained to teach.

Notify Deacon Fischer of your desire to be a student in the class and remit $18.00 (cash no checks) for the purchase of your lesson materials.
CAN A PERSON WHO IS NOT A MEMBER OF MOUNT CALVARY PARTICIPATE IN JOURNEY OF A LIFETIME?
ALL ARE INVITED TO PARTICIPATE IN JOURNEY OF A LIFETIME! The only requirement is that they remit the $18.00 for the purchase of their lesson materials.
