You may only be someone in the world, but to someone else, you may be the world.

A Wednesday Word from the Mount

Hello brothers and sisters, ladies and gentlemen, I bring you greetings and felicitations from the Mount:

I want to say to each of you that no matter what things look like in life, it doesn’t mean you have to quit.

Quitting isn’t an option for you.

The reality is that life will get upset with you and present to you days of frustrations and disappointments. However be mindful that you can cope with the hope that comes from the love of Jesus who literally took our maladies and nailed them to the cross symbolizing that we can overcome those things that seem to haunt and taunt us. Come a little closer and listen to what Jesus prescribes for you during those times of uncertainty.

Take one of these a day: Hebrews 13:5b, “I will never leave thee nor forsake thee.”

Until next time, do all you can while you can and love those who can’t love themselves. Show the world that you have the love of Jesus deep down within your heart.

Yours in Christ,
Rev. Dr. Tony C. Person
