A Word from the Mount

Hello brothers and sisters it is a great privilege to greet you in the blessed name of our Lord and Savior Jesus the Christ from the summit of the Mount, “Where everybody is somebody.”

It is incumbent upon each of us to prepare ourselves for the stroke of midnight in which some will celebrate the entrance into the threshold of a New Year while others the entrance to eternity.

My friend I want you to know that the New Year is a time to reflect on the present as well as the period to evaluate the things of the past. Perhaps last year was not so kind to you and there is some stuff that has caused discomfort and disunity.

Well, let me inform you that what happened to you in this last year was in fact a potential setup and not a potential letdown because there exists the impartation of his grace which will carry you into and through the New Year.

You do know that he has been with you all along from the entrance of 2014 to the dawning of 2015.  Therefore, since he’s been with you and has provided for you all the amenities that come with life, why not give him what he deserves? He wants all of you.  Don’t cheat him. He wants our time, talent and tithes.

Remember what we have and will have in our possession is because of him.  He made it possible.  Join us Sunday morning with the resolve advised in Matthew 6:33, “But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.”  Let that soak into your spirit and enjoy the New Year sanctioned by the provisions that come from God.

Happy New Year from the Mount!
